The two bathhouses are named Mei-yu and An-Yu, and are immersed in Soseki's novel "Mei-an", which is set in Yugawara.
As you muse in the hot water, you will see a mysterious scene.
Mei Yu" is a space decorated with pastel tiles and vivid stained glass. After warming up in the highly effective heat-retaining water, take a rest on the cypress benches where you can lie down. It is the kind of bath where flowers bloom in your heart.
The "An yu" is a calm, monotone bathhouse with the background music of the sound of a murmuring stream near the height of the river flowing outside the window; images projected in the steam mist become light and dimly illuminate the hot water.
Yugawara is a place where you can get away from the hustle and bustle and bathe in the healing power of nature. Please find your favorite place with Yumejiyasumi as your base.
